Vitomir is a world champion in both pool and depth disciplines, a multiple world record freediver, and the current #1 ranked freediver in AIDA history across all disciplines. He is a certified pulmonary rehabilitator, specializing in lung training and recovery, and a W4ITD Instructor Trainer. His coaching has helped many of the world’s top freedivers reach new levels of performance and safety. Vitomir is also part of the teaching and research staff at the Medical University of Rijeka, working within the Center for Baro, Diving & Naval Medicine. His research on lung barotrauma, advanced EQ mechanics, breathing physiology and sport applications is shaping the future of freediving physiology and safety standards.
